German outfit Bayer Leverkusen have agreed a deal to sign Malian teenager N’Djicoura Raymond Bomba.
After falling short in their Bundesliga title defence during the 2024/25 season, Leverkusen are now focused on refreshing their squad, with several key players having already departed.
Jonathan Tah, Florian Wirtz, and Jeremie Frimpong have all left the club, prompting Leverkusen to turn to emerging talents, particularly from Africa.
According to Sky reporter Florian Plettenberg, the club has reached an agreement to bring in the 17-year-old striker in 2026. Bomba, who will turn 18 in March, will be eligible to sign a professional contract.
Leverkusen are set to pay a transfer fee of €1.5 million for the young forward. The move is expected to be officially confirmed once the player undergoes a medical.
Bomba, a Malian U17 international, is widely regarded as one of the top attacking prospects in his age group.
He has chosen to join Bayer Leverkusen despite interest from several other top European clubs, including AC Milan, AS Monaco, Manchester City, and TSG Hoffenheim.
