Djibril Cissé has returned to France and completed his medical examination. The French striker has signed a contract with Sporting Club de Bastia for a year and a half. Cissé is expected to make his debut for the Corsican club on Sunday against Evian in the Coupe de France. Sporting coach Frédéric Hantz expressed confidence in Cissé’s commitment to a sporting challenge and mentioned that he might play on Sunday, although it will take some time for him to fully integrate into the team.
