Spanish giants, FC Barcelona, are reportedly interested in signing German midfielder of Cameroonian descent, Jamal Musiala.
According to information gathered, Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is a big fan of the youngster and has made him one of his priority signings for the next summer transfer window.
Although Musiala is injured, he is still being discussed among Barcelona officials.
Hansi Flick is believed to have pushed for the club to sign Musiala as far back as December, but Barcelona’s financial constraints prevented a deal from materialising at the time.
Despite the challenges, there’s growing optimism within the club that an agreement could be reached, though any negotiations are expected to be complex.
The prospect of pairing Musiala with rising star Lamine Yamal has particularly excited Barcelona’s hierarchy, as both players are seen as key figures for the future of the club’s attacking play.
Before his injury, Musiala had enjoyed an outstanding season at Bayern Munich, registering 18 goals and five assists in 40 appearances.
Unfortunately, an injury sustained against Augsburg forced him to miss several crucial fixtures, including Bayern’s Champions League quarter-final clash with Inter Milan.
Despite the interest in Musiala, he is considered one of the untouchables at FC Bayern Munich. It will be very difficult for Barcelona to sign the midfielder, although not impossible.
