Barcelona initiatives move to sign Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman

Juventus and Napoli set for transfer battle over Ademola Lookman

Spanish La Liga giants, FC Barcelona have taken the first step in their move to sign talented Nigerian winger Ademola Lookman.

As reported by Africasoccer last week, Barcelona wants to secure the services of Lookman in the summer transfer window.

In the last 24 hours, it has come to light that the Spanish club has contacted the representatives of the forward who currently plays for Atalanta.

Although no former talks have commenced, the latest move by Barcelona has confirmed their interest in Ademola Lookman.

In the pursuit of Lookman, Barcelona will face competition from several English Premier League clubs.

Per reports, the likes of Arsenal, Liverpool, and Manchester United are also interested.

While Atalanta may be willing to sanction the transfer of the Super Eagles superstar, the club will only let him leave for the right amount.

Sources have reported that Atalanta will demand around €65 million for the signing of Ademola Lookman.
