FC Barcelona are reportedly interested in signing France forward of Ivorian descent, Désiré Doué.

According to journalist Indy Kaila, Barça are eyeing the PSG winger as they look to strengthen their squad and build a competitive side capable of challenging Europe’s elite.

Kaila notes that the vision is to assemble a team around rising star Lamine Yamal, with Doué seen as a potential key partner on the wings.

“Barcelona is preparing for a new project, and it will be exciting to see what steps they take,” Kaila said.

“They want to sign top players to compete against Europe’s best and build a team around the exceptional talent of Lamine Yamal. The latest news: They’re said to be eyeing PSG’s Désiré Doué as a wing reinforcement. Imagine how these two will liven up the pitch together.”

While the idea is bold and could lay the foundation for Barcelona’s resurgence, the move remains speculative.

PSG are believed to value the highly-rated youngster at a premium, and with Doué already tipped as a contender for the 2025 Golden Boy Award, negotiations could prove challenging.
