Bamber Bridge add Italy-Nigeria striker Temi Ajibola to attack

Italy-Nigeria centre-forward Temi Ajibola has joined Bamber Bridge after a spell without a club, giving the English side a new option in attack.

The 25-year-old was most recently with Flint Town, having left the Welsh club on 1 September before completing his move to Bamber Bridge three days later. No transfer fee has been disclosed for the move.

Ajibola was born in Borgo Val di Taro and holds Italian and Nigerian nationality. Standing at 1.95m, he is a right-footed striker whose primary role is as a centre-forward.

His recorded appearances this season include six matches in the Cymru Premier, with 392 minutes played. He started 67% of those games and was on the pitch for 73% of the available minutes, although he did not score or provide an assist. He received one yellow card during that run.

The move to Bamber Bridge continues a career that has taken Ajibola through clubs in England, Wales, Ireland, Germany, Sweden and Italy. Before joining Flint Town in July 2026, he spent part of the 2025-26 campaign with Finn Harps after leaving Idar-Oberstein.

Ajibola joined Idar-Oberstein from German club G. Halberstadt in July 2025, following an earlier spell with Swedish side Ytterhogdals IK. His time in England has also included spells at Prestwich Heys, Ramsbottom and Whitchurch, while his previous Italian club was Lentigione.

He began his senior club journey after leaving Parma FC’s youth set-up in January 2020 to join Lentigione. Since then, his moves have generally been completed without a transfer fee, including switches to Whitchurch, Ramsbottom, Prestwich Heys, Ytterhogdals IK, G. Halberstadt, Idar-Oberstein, Finn Harps and Flint Town.

Bamber Bridge have now added an experienced 25-year-old forward with a broad record of movement between clubs and leagues. Ajibola’s move to the club was completed on 4 September 2026.
