Morocco international Azzedine Ounahi has officially joined Spanish side Girona from French club Olympique de Marseille.
The Catalan club confirmed the transfer in a statement, announcing that Ounahi has signed a five-year contract running until the summer of 2030.
Ounahi departs Marseille two and a half years after his €10 million move from Angers. He spent the 2024-25 season on loan at Greek side Panathinaikos.
The Moroccan midfielder had fallen out of favour under Marseille coach Roberto De Zerbi, who took charge in the summer of 2024.
Girona, however, view Ounahi as a key offensive asset, capable of influencing play both as a creative midfielder and a deep-lying forward.
