Aymen Abdennour has become a subject of interest for multiple clubs in the ongoing transfer window, including Juventus, Monaco, Zenith Saint Petersburg, and CSKA Moscow, all vying to secure the services of the Tunisian defender.
As per statements on lequipe.fr, the Eagles of Carthage’s defender has acknowledged being enticed by the project at Monaco. Abdennour has confirmed having contacts with the principality club, stating, “There are contacts, they are looking at defenders in France, but I don’t know if they will recruit me.”
Expressing his enthusiasm for the potential move, Abdennour added, “Next year, all eyes will be on Monaco. I would be the happiest of men if I could go there.” However, he also emphasized that the decision ultimately lies with the club: “If a good club presents itself, it is they who will decide,” referring to President Sadran. Abdennour made it clear that he wouldn’t engage in a confrontation and mentioned his affection for Toulouse: “In any case, I really like Toulouse. If I have to stay, there will be no problem.”
