Ayman El-Ramady sets the record straight over Zamalek loyalty and dues
Ayman El-Ramady has drawn a dignified curtain on his brief but successful time at Zamalek SC, making it clear that his praise for the club was not motivated by financial gain.
The former technical director, who led the team to Egypt Cup glory last season, confirmed via Facebook that he has received all his dues and felt it was time to speak freely.
“The time has come,” El-Ramady wrote on Facebook, “and after I had been cautious due to my fear that it would be said about me that I am favoring the great Zamalek Club until I get my dues.”
His heartfelt statement stressed that his admiration for Zamalek was always genuine, not a ploy to secure money owed.
“I have been freed from a shackle around my neck” he he added.
El-Ramady also urged Zamalek fans and staff to remain loyal, remember the club’s rich legacy, and serve without selfish interests.
He concluded with a promise to support the club from afar, calling Zamalek and its supporters forever dear to him.
