Ayman El-Ramadi has firmly pushed back against rumors suggesting he’s waiting on Zamalek’s board to decide his future.
The technical director, who led Zamalek to Egyptian Cup glory last season, made his stance clear in a strong Facebook post on Saturday.
“I’m not an amateur. I don’t wait for your colleagues’ decision,” Ramadi wrote, making it known that he operates on his own terms.
“Despite my love and respect for all the Zamalek fans from the youngest Zamalkawi child to the oldest young man in love with Zamalek, this club loves him and loves his fans with love from the heart, and despite my emotional attachment to all Zamalkawi, it is not rumored that I am waiting for the decision of the administration to renew or not to determine my destination, I am a professional and I do not deal in an amateur manner.”
Ramadi’s agent, Hazem Fattouh, also confirmed there’s been no talks yet with any club or input on player exits. A meeting with Zamalek is expected, but no date is set.
