Australian-Liberian striker Mohamed Tourè attracts European and MLS interest

Mohamed Tourè’s growing reputation has caught the attention of major clubs in Europe and North America, with Chelsea’s ownership group and several MLS sides monitoring his progress.

The 21-year-old Randers FC forward has emerged as one of the Danish Superliga’s most promising young players, combining power, pace, and composure in front of goal.

Born in Conakry, Guinea, to Liberian parents before moving to Australia as a child, Tourè represents the Socceroos internationally but remains proud of his African roots.

His story and style have made him a player of cross-continental appeal, attracting interest from both European and North American scouts.

The BlueCo group, which owns Chelsea and RC Strasbourg, has reportedly added Tourè to its scouting list and continues to gather information about his situation.

Club representatives are expected to follow his performances closely over the coming months as they assess future recruitment options.

Across the Atlantic, Major League Soccer sides are also tracking the forward.

LAFC and the Vancouver Whitecaps have made recent enquiries despite their playoff focus, while CF Montreal have shown the most concrete interest as they plan for next season.

Tourè has contributed two goals and four assists in 11 matches this season, building on an impressive campaign last year in which he scored seven goals and provided three assists.

His progress has also been noted by clubs in Germany and England.

Despite the mounting speculation, the young striker remains grounded. “I’m focused on helping Randers and improving every week,” Tourè said recently. “The rest will take care of itself.”

With growing attention from both the BlueCo network and MLS franchises, Tourè could soon face a defining decision in his promising career.
