Morocco international Reda Slim has quickly earned the trust of AS FAR hierarchy, including Portuguese head coach Alexandre Santos.
According to sources close to the club, Santos held an extensive discussion with Slim, reviewing the player’s previous contributions and outlining the demanding road ahead.
The coach emphasised that the season presents major challenges, including reclaiming the league title, securing the Throne Cup, and pursuing the African Champions League crown, objectives that will require significant dedication and effort.
“Santos assured Slim that he would play a central role in the team’s plans,” the sources added. “He has welcomed his return, but Slim must restore his top form to prove his quality and help the Army Club achieve success both domestically and on the continental stage.”
Slim remains a fan favourite, a status further reinforced after he rejected offers from league rivals Raja and Wydad during the current transfer window.
His loyalty and commitment have only strengthened his bond with the club’s supporters.
