Moroccan football stars Hakim Ziyech, Achraf Hakimi, Nayef Aguerd, and Yassine Bounou have recently joined their national teammates at the Mohammed VI Football Complex in Maâmora.

The Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF), in a press release on its official website, highlighted that the training session incorporated a comprehensive program encompassing various physical exercises, with a particular focus on ball-related drills.
The players’ commitment to refining their skills and building team cohesion was evident during the training regimen.
With the arrival of Ziyech, Hakimi, Aguerd, and Bounou, the national team is gradually assembling its full complement of players, creating an environment of collective dedication and shared objectives.
The cohesion and synchronization developed during these sessions are crucial for a successful campaign in the AFCON 2023.
Looking ahead, the Atlas Lions are set to depart for San Pedro, a town in the southwest of Ivory Coast, on the coming Sunday, marking the next phase of their preparations.
The team, led by coach Vahid Halilhodžić, will face Sierra Leone on January 11 in San Pedro as part of their buildup for the tournament.
In the AFCON group stage, the Atlas Lions find themselves in Group F, where they will contend with Tanzania, the Democratic Republic of Congo, and Zambia.
The opening match against the Étoiles du Kilimanjaro is scheduled for Wednesday, January 17, at 6 p.m., followed by encounters with the Leopards on Sunday, January 21, at 3 p.m., and the Chipolopolos on Wednesday, January 24, at 9 p.m.
All matches will unfold at the Laurent Pokou Stadium, setting the stage for an intense and captivating football spectacle as the Atlas Lions aim for continental glory.
