Aston Villa are preparing a lucrative contract renewal offer for French-Senegalese midfielder Boubacar Kamara.
The former Marseille midfielder, whose contract expires in the summer of 2027 has attracted interest from several clubs due to his outstanding performance.
In an attempt to ward off suitors, the Premier League club have begun talks to renew contract of the enterprising midfielder before the summer window.
Kamara is set to be offered a “historic” contract to tie the highly-rated midfielder down at the club.
The midfielder has established himself as a crucial member of Aston Villa after recovering from a severe knee injury.
However, the Premier League side will also have to perform between now and the end of the season. Having played in the UEFA Champions League this season, Kamara would prefer to feature in the elite competition next season.
The 25-year-old has made 30 appearances for Aston Villa across competitions this season.
