Aston Villa reach agreement to sign Ivorian forward Evann Guessand for €35m from OGC Nice

English outfit Aston Villa are set to complete the signing of Ivorian striker Evann Guessand in the coming days.

According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, the English Premier League club has reached an agreement with French outfit OGC Nice to sign the striker for a fee of €35 million.

It is understood that Guessand will be travelling to England as soon as possible to undergo a medical examination before sealing his move to Aston Villa.

“Evann Guessand to Aston Villa, here we go! Verbal agreement in place after €30m plus €5m add-ons bid accepted.

“OGC Nice authorised Guessand to travel for medical and contract signing as next steps. New striker for Unai Emery,” Romano said in a post on X.

Evann Guessand, 24, is reportedly excited about the possibility of playing in the English Premier League and cannot wait to complete the switch.
