Christian Benteke, the Belgian striker of Congolese origin, who suffered a hip injury during the Aston Villa vs. Norwich match in the Premier League’s 5th day, is recovering quickly. Aston Villa’s manager, Paul Lambert, has provided reassuring updates on Benteke’s condition, stating that the progress is positive.
Lambert mentioned, “Our big fear was that he would be absent for a considerable time, but, given the progress he is making, I think everyone is happy.” However, Benteke may still miss the upcoming matches, including the Belgian national team’s fixtures against Croatia on October 11 and the match against Wales.
