Premier League outfit Aston Villa and Newcastle United have expressed huge interest in Dutch international of Nigeria descent

Both Aston Villa and Newcastle United are seeking to augment their squad for the new season, and Emegha, who endured an amazing campaign with Strasbourg has emerged as a target.

In the recently concluded season, Emegha stepped up his performance, scoring 14 goals in 29 appearances.

Despite interest from several clubs including Aston Villa and Newcastle United, the talented forward is expected to join Chelsea.

Meanwhile, the Blues plans to loan back the attacker to Strasbourg, who are set to compete in the Europa Conference League next season.

The former Sturm Graz forward is expected to sign a six-year deal with the Premier League side. Given that Strasbourg and Chelsea share the same owner, negotiations have not been difficult.
