Asamoah Gyan, Ghana’s prolific goalscorer, is on the verge of breaking the national record for most goals, currently held by Abedi Pelé (33 goals). While enjoying success in his career, Gyan is also thinking about his retirement. Despite training in Europe, he expressed a desire to end his career in Ghana and play for the Asante Kotoko club. Gyan, currently playing for Al Ain, has had a diverse career, including stints with Udinese in Italy, Rennes in France, and Sunderland in England. He recently won the Arab Golden Shoe for being the top scorer in all Arab championships last season.
