Rudi Garcia, the coach of AS Roma, is eager to strengthen the team’s attack with the addition of Gervinho. As a result, he has recommended the Ivorian international to the leaders of the Giallorossi.
According to the Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport, Walter Sabattini, the sports director of AS Roma, is reportedly traveling to London to discuss the 27-year-old striker’s potential transfer. It is suggested that Arsenal may be willing to part ways with Gervinho for a compensation fee of around 8 million euros. Following an initial offer reported by Sky Italia, Walter Sabattini is expected to propose a deal that includes a sum of money along with the inclusion of Daniel Osvaldo in the transaction, as per information from the English tabloid Daily Mail. Notably, Gervinho had previously played under Rudi Garcia in Ligue 1 before joining Arsenal in the summer of 2011.
