AS FAR shot-stopper Reda Tagnaouti has paid tribute to the club’s supporters and officials, expressing gratitude for the faith shown in him since his return to top-level football.

“The team’s start speaks for itself. We feel we are in great shape, thank God. Of course, we would have liked to defeat Raja Casablanca after the goalless draw, but that will not shake our determination to push towards our objectives,” Tagnaouti said.

He noted that AS FAR, known as the Royal Army, have the pedigree and professionalism to make their mark this season.

“The fans stood by me, and I will not let them down. Returning to the Moroccan national team remains a legitimate dream. I am also the biggest supporter of all Atlas Lions goalkeepers,” he added.

Tagnaouti insisted his decision to join AS FAR was the right one, stressing his ambition to win silverware with the club.

AS FAR are preparing for their CAF Champions League preliminary round clash this weekend, when they visit Real de Banjul FC at the Olympic Stadium.
