English Premier League side, Arsenal are reportedly ready to begin contract talks with highly-rated youngster Bukayo Saka.
The England attacker of Nigerian descent has not featured for the club since picking up an injury in December 2024.
Fortunately, the forward has recovered fully from the injury and is set to make a return to the pitch this week.
According to information gathered, officials at Arsenal are delighted with the comeback of the attacker and wants to tie him down to a new contract.
As a result, the club is preparing a contract extension talk with Bukayo Saka and his representatives.
Ahead of Arsenal’s encounter against Fulham on Tuesday night, manager Mikel Arteta has indicated that the forward is ready to start.
The manager insists that the player’s return from injury is a major boost for the club.
“It’s more the energy that he transmits, that he’s missed the thing that he loves the most in his life, which is to be around the team, to play, to train, and to compete at the highest level.
“The fact that he’s able to come in the most important part of the season obviously is a massive boost for him and for the team as well,” Mikel Arteta said.
