Italian-Ivorian striker Moïse Kean cleared to return after head trauma injury

Premier League club Arsenal are reportedly considering Fiorentina forward Moise Kean as a possible transfer target for the upcoming summer window.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, the Gunners are monitoring the Italian striker of Ivorian descent, who has impressed with his performances in Serie A this season.

Kean, 25, has had experience in the Premier League before, but his stint with Everton was largely disappointing.

During his time at Goodison Park, he managed just four goals in 39 appearances, struggling to adapt to English football.

However, he has rediscovered his form in Italy, scoring 15 goals in 26 league matches for Fiorentina this season.

His resurgence has made him a player of interest for several Premier League clubs, including Arsenal, Newcastle United, and West Ham United.

Kean’s contract with Fiorentina includes a release clause of £44 million, which remains active throughout July. This means any club willing to sign him would need to trigger the clause before it expires.

Despite his impressive numbers this season, Kean is not believed to be Arsenal’s primary attacking target. The North London side has been linked with bigger names like Alexander Isak from Newcastle and RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Šeško.

However, Kean could emerge as a viable alternative if Arsenal decide to look for a more cost-effective option.

With Fiorentina willing to negotiate, the Italian striker’s price tag could be appealing compared to other high-profile forwards on the market.
