Arsenal make formal approach in bid to sign English-Nigerian forward Eberechi Eze

England and Nigerian midfielder Eberechi Eze poised for Crystal Palace exit amid Premier League interest

English Premier League side Arsenal have made formal contact with the camp of Eberechi Eze as the club hopes to secure the signing of the attacker this summer.

According to Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano, the Gunners contacted the player’s camp over the weekend and are proceeding to open talks with Crystal Palace this week.

“Arsenal have made contact with Eberechi Eze’s camp over the weekend.

“Contacts are taking place for Crystal Palace star with #AFC informed on deal conditions. Tottenham remain also keen on Eze,” Fabrizio Romano said in a post on X.

Besides Arsenal and Tottenham, Eberechi Eze is a transfer target of several clubs in Europe, including Aston Villa.

Eze with his quality won’t come cheap. Villa will reportedly need to pay around €65 million to Crystal Palace to be able to sign the winger.

The England forward of Nigerian descent’s future will become clearer in July.
