Antonio Nusa: Bayern Munich linked with move for Leipzig’s Norway-Nigeria winger

Norway-Nigeria left winger Antonio Nusa of RB Leipzig is being linked with a summer move to Bundesliga rivals Bayern Munich.

The 21-year-old, valued at €32.00m on Transfermarkt, is the subject of growing speculation in Germany, with Bayern reported to be monitoring his situation closely as they assess wide options for next season. The probability of a deal remains unclear, with the move currently rated only as “?” in rumour listings and no agreement reported between the clubs.

Nusa, who can operate across the front line but is primarily used on the left, joined Leipzig after emerging as one of Europe’s most promising young attacking talents. Born in Langhus on 17 April 2005, the 1.83m right-footed winger has developed a reputation for direct dribbling and acceleration in the Bundesliga.

Leipzig’s position is complicated by the absence of a publicly listed contract expiry date, leaving observers unsure how long he is tied down and whether he could eventually move as a free agent if no new deal is agreed. There is currently no indication that his contract has expired, but uncertainty over its length is fuelling further talk over his long-term future.

Nusa’s recent displays for Leipzig have kept scouts’ attention, with his latest outing coming in the Bundesliga against domestic opposition earlier this month, when he featured on the left flank in a narrow win, contributing with his off-the-ball runs despite not getting on the scoresheet.

Holding dual Norwegian and Nigerian nationality, Nusa wears the No 7 shirt for Leipzig and is seen as a high-upside investment at his current €32.00m market valuation. If Bayern decide to formalise their interest, a move to Munich would represent a major step in his career and could define his reputation at the top level of European football.
