Swedish forward of Cameroonian descent, Anthony Elanga, has passed his medical examination ahead of his transfer to Newcastle United.
As reported by Africasoccer early this week, the former Manchester United attacker has agreed to join Newcastle United from fellow English Premier League side Nottingham Forest.
Today, Transfer Insider Fabrizio Romano has reported that Elanga is all set to complete his much-anticipated transfer.
In a post on X, Romano stated that the winger has completed his medical examination and is set to sign the contract as a new signing for Newcastle United.
“Medical successfully completed for Anthony Elanga at Newcastle United… and the two clubs have also exchanged all documents. £55m deal done, as exclusively revealed,” Fabrizio Romano said in his post.

Checks have revealed that Newcastle United are preparing for the official announcement of the signing of Anthony Elanga on Thursday, July 10.
