Anthony Dennis is attracting interest from Atalanta, with the Serie A club reportedly weighing up a move for the Göztepe defensive midfielder.

The 21-year-old Nigerian, valued at €5.00m on transfermarkt, is being linked with a switch from the Süper Lig side to Bergamo, according to data logged on 22 December 2025. The move remains firmly in the realm of speculation, with no fee agreed and the probability of a deal listed as unknown (“?”) in the reports.

Dennis is currently under contract at Göztepe, but with no public information on its expiry, observers have noted the possibility that he could become a free agent in the near future, a factor that may be encouraging interest from abroad. Atalanta, operating in Serie A, are thought to be tracking emerging talent capable of adding energy and ball-winning ability at the base of midfield.

Born in Kaduna on 21 June 2004, Dennis stands at 1.79m and plays primarily as a defensive midfielder, operating in front of the back line and favouring his right foot. He progressed from HB Academy Abuja in Nigeria to Göztepe’s under-19s in January 2023, before being promoted to the first team that summer.

His market value has risen sharply during his time in Türkiye, climbing from €25,000 in late 2023 to its current €5.00m, reflecting his development and growing reputation in the Süper Lig. That trajectory is likely to appeal to Atalanta, who have a history of investing in young midfielders and refining them in a tactically demanding environment.

No agreement has been reported between the clubs and there is no indication yet of personal terms or contract length. If a move does materialise, a switch from Göztepe to Atalanta could mark a significant step in Dennis’s career, offering a platform in one of Europe’s top leagues to further enhance his profile and potential.
