Anthony Dennis is attracting interest from Fiorentina, with the Serie A club monitoring the Göztepe midfielder as a possible addition to their squad, according to transfer data compiled on 22 December 2025.
The 21-year-old defensive midfielder, currently valued at €5.00m, is reported to be on Fiorentina’s radar as they assess options in front of their back four. The move remains firmly in the realm of rumour, with no fee agreed and the probability of a transfer not yet specified in the available data.
Dennis is contracted to Göztepe, but publicly listed information does not show an expiry date on his current deal, leaving open the theoretical possibility that he could move on a free in the future if no extension is agreed. For now, however, he remains part of the Süper Lig side’s plans.
Born in Kaduna on 21 June 2004, the Nigerian has risen quickly since arriving in Türkiye. He joined Göztepe’s U19s from HB Academy Abuja in January 2023 before being promoted to the first team in July of the same year. Initially valued at just €25,000 in late 2023, his market value has climbed sharply, passing the €1m mark by October 2024 and reaching its current €5.00m level in October 2025, reflecting his growing reputation.
A right-footed specialist in the holding role, Dennis operates in defensive midfield, providing protection in front of the defence. He has yet to be officially listed with another senior national-team setup beyond his Nigerian nationality, and all his senior club football so far has come with Göztepe in Türkiye.
If Fiorentina choose to formalise their interest, a move to Serie A would represent a major step in Dennis’s career, potentially accelerating his development and profile in European football.
