Angolan forward Chico Banza is fired up after sealing a move to Egyptian giants Zamalek this summer.
Banza, who joined from Portuguese side Estrela da Amadora on a four-year deal, didn’t waste time in making his decision. For him, the chance to represent one of Africa’s most decorated clubs was too good to pass up.
“Zamalek is a big club, so I didn’t hesitate to accept the Whites’ offer because joining one of Africa’s biggest clubs is a huge honor,” he told the club’s media team.
The 27-year-old arrives with high expectations and a hunger to help the Cairo-based club return to the top.
“I have great ambitions with Zamalek, and I seek to help the team win all titles next season,” he added.
With a fresh start ahead, Chico is already thinking about the fans.
“I will do my best to appear in the best possible way, to please Zamalek fans, and to live up to their expectations.”
Zamalek faithful will now look to their new man for goals and success.
