Today, the Football Super Cup takes place in Angola, featuring defending champion Kabuscorp against National Cup winner Petro de Luanda. Around 50,000 spectators are expected to attend this match, which marks the beginning of the new season.
Despite concerns about his availability due to missing pre-season training and lacking match fitness, Trésor Mputu, who finally signed with Kabuscorp last December after several twists and turns, has been included in the 18-player squad for the match.
