Angola has announced its final squad for the upcoming Under-17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with 23 players selected to represent the country at the continental tournament.
The squad, known as the “Palanquinhas,” features a blend of homegrown talent and players based abroad, showcasing the depth of Angola’s youth football.
The roster includes representatives from top local clubs such as Petro de Luanda and 1º de Agosto, as well as European teams like Famalicão, Vitória FC, Real Massama, Rio Ave, and Belenenses. Additionally, Houston Dynamo FC in the United States has contributed one player to the team.
