The Barcelona legend, speaking to Sky Sports, expressed admiration for the teenage sensation who has become one of the club’s top performers this season.
“Lamine Yamal? He has a unique talent, a special talent. And he is showing it, as you said, at his young age,” Iniesta said, clearly impressed by the winger’s maturity and skill.
Iniesta, who rose through the same academy that shaped Yamal, believes the youngster’s future depends on staying grounded and consistent.
“From here, he will have to follow his own path, his own journey, and that will determine, in a few years, what he has been able to achieve.”
Barcelona fans have every reason to be excited. Yamal, the youngest player in the squad, has already delivered performances that belie his age.
