Amine Aboulfath: Morocco defender at Al-Ahly linked with fresh Al Ahly move

Morocco centre-back Amine Aboulfath, currently listed as an Al-Ahly player, has been linked with a move to Egyptian club Al Ahly just one day after joining from Wydad AC.

The 28-year-old’s transfer record shows he moved to Al-Ahly on 13 August 2026, with the rumour linking him to the Egyptian Premier League side dated 14 August. No fee has been recorded for the switch, while Aboulfath’s current market value is listed at €750,000.

Aboulfath is under contract until 30 June 2027. The centre-back stands 1.83m tall, is right-footed and was born in Berrechid, Morocco, on 29 October 1997.

His move to Al-Ahly followed a season at Wydad, where he had returned after spending the 2024-25 campaign with Kuwait SC. He first joined Wydad in November 2020 from Berrechid and made 118 Botola Pro appearances, scoring four goals and providing three assists.

Aboulfath has also played 24 matches in the CAF Champions League and was part of Wydad’s squad that won the competition in 2021-22. That campaign also ended with the club claiming the Moroccan league title, one of two domestic championships he won with Wydad.

The available details do not indicate whether the reported link represents a separate move or relates to the transfer already recorded. Aboulfath’s listed contractual position remains an agreement with Al-Ahly through June 2027.
