Alioune Mane: Senegal winger joins Academica Coimbra from Depor Fabril on free transfer
Senegalese left winger Alioune Mane has joined Academica Coimbra on a free transfer from Depor Fabril, moving from Spains Primera Federacion Group I to Liga Portugal 2. The 23-year-old arrives with a current market value of 150,000.
Mane, whose main position is on the left side of attack, leaves Depor Fabril after an 18-month spell with the Spanish clubs set-up. His transfer to Coimbra was completed on 6 July 2026 ahead of the 2026-27 campaign.
The move continues a rapid rise in Manes valuation over the past year. His market value increased from 25,000 in March 2025 to 100,000 by June 2025 and remained at that level at the end of the year, before climbing again to 150,000 in June 2026 while still with Depor Fabril.
Born on 10 February 2003, Mane already has experience in three different countries. Before joining Depor Fabril in January 2025, he spent time in Brazil with Comercial Futebol Clube Tietes under-20 side, including a loan spell in Spain at CD Tenerife C that began in January 2024 and ended a year later when he returned to the Brazilian club.
At Coimbra, officially Academica Coimbra, Mane joins a side competing in Portugals second tier, Liga Portugal 2. His arrival adds a Senegalese attacking option to the clubs wide areas, following his development in Spanish lower divisions and Brazilian youth football.
Mane now begins his first permanent spell in Portuguese football with Academica Coimbra after moves through Brazil and Spain.
