The Algerian women’s national football team wrapped up their preparatory training camp in Tunisia from April 1st to April 8th with a draw against the Tunisian national team, as part of their preparations for the 2024 Africa Cup of Nations.
In their first friendly match held last Thursday, the Algerian side suffered a narrow 2-1 defeat against their Tunisian hosts.
However, they managed to secure a 2-2 draw in yesterday’s friendly encounter.
The goals for the Algerian team in the match, which took place at the “Chedli Zouiten” stadium in the Tunisian capital, Tunis, were scored by striker Naïma Bouhenni.
Bouhenni netted a penalty in the 20th minute and added another goal just before halftime, in the 44th minute.
