As the season nears its conclusion, the statistics platform Sofascore has released its rankings of the best players in Arab leagues, featuring Brahimi prominently.
The Algerian midfielder, who plays for Al-Gharafa in Qatar, has been recognized for his outstanding performances, earning an impressive rating of 8.09.
This places him second only to Qatar international and Al-Sadd forward Akram Afif, who tops the list with a rating of 8.86.
Brazilian-born Emirati player Fabio Lima of Al-Wasl secured third place with a rating of 7.98. He is followed by another Brazilian, Roger Guedes of Al-Rayyan, with a score of 7.92, and Saudi Arabia’s Salem Al-Dawsari from Al-Hilal, who rounds out the top five with a rating of 7.91.
Brahimi’s exceptional season statistics, including 23 goals and 11 assists in 27 matches, have set him apart from numerous high-profile players in the region.
These achievements highlight his superior form over illustrious names such as Portuguese superstar Cristiano Ronaldo and French striker Karim Benzema, both of whom compete in the Arab leagues.
