France-born midfielder of Algerian descent, Maghnes Akliouche, is open to staying at AS Monaco beyond this season.
The 23-year-old is a transfer target of several European top clubs heading into the summer transfer window.
The likes of Manchester City and Manchester United are all said to be interested in securing his services at the end of the 2024/25 football season.
Sources also indicate that AS Monaco are willing to sell Maghnes Akliouche and will demand fee of €70 million.
However, speaking in an interview, the midfielder has noted that he will be happy to continue with AS Monaco next season.
“I am under contract at Monaco and I hope that I will be here next season, why not?” he said in a mixed zone interview after AS Monaco defeated Olympique Lyonnais on Saturday.
That win over the weekend guarantees that AS Monaco will compete in the UEFA Champions League next season.
Maghnes Akliouche will take time to assess his options at the end of the season before deciding on any move.
