Mohamed Amoura has emerged as one of the Bundesliga’s most decisive foreign players this season, ranking third in goal contributions after the league’s 25th matchday.
The Algerian forward continues to shine in Germany, surpassing several high-profile names in the competition.
The 24-year-old made headlines once again over the weekend, finding the net in his side’s clash against St. Pauli.
His latest goal adds to an already impressive campaign, where he has now registered 10 goals and eight assists in the 2024-25 Bundesliga season.
With 18 direct goal involvements in 23 appearances, Amoura has outperformed some of the league’s most prominent attackers, including Czech forward Patrik Schick (16 goals, no assists), Guinea’s Serhou Guirassy (14 goals, one assist), Frenchman Hugo Ekitiké (13 goals, three assists), and Slovenian Benjamin Šeško (10 goals, four assists). Even Michael Olise, another rising star in the Bundesliga, trails behind with eight goals and seven assists.
The only players ahead of Amoura in goal contributions this season are England captain Harry Kane, who has amassed 21 goals and six assists, and Egyptian forward Omar Marmoush, with 15 goals and nine assists.
However, with Marmoush no longer playing in Germany, Amoura has a strong opportunity to surpass him if he maintains his current form.
As the season progresses, Amoura’s continued impact could see him rise even higher in the rankings, further cementing his reputation as one of the Bundesliga’s most influential attacking talents.
