Algeria international and Ittihad Jeddah midfielder Houssem Aouar has set a personal best goal scoring record in the ongoing campaign.
The 26-year-old was on target when his outfit defeated Al-Ettifaq 4-0 in the Saudi Professional League at the weekend.
The enterprising midfielder has racked up seven goals and provided two assists in 11 appearances in the Saudi top-flight.
Aouar has, however, equaled his personal best goal scoring in a single season in three different leagues he’s played so far (French, Italian and Saud)
During the 2018/19 season, Aouar scored similar number of goals for Lyon in France in 37 appearances.
In the 2020/21 campaign, the Algerian star racked up same number of goals in 30 appearances in the French League competitions.
Having played fewer number of games for Ittihad Jeddah and scoring similar number goals means, Houssem Aouar has reached his personal scoring best in a single season
