Nadir Belhadj, who announced his international retirement in May 2012, is considering making a return to the Algerian national team for the World Cup play-off against Burkina Faso in November. In an interview with France Football, Belhadj expressed his readiness to come back if called upon by coach Vahid Halilhodzic. The left-back, currently playing for Al Sadd Doha in Qatar, had previously refused a comeback a few months ago. Whether Coach Halilhodzic will agree to include him remains uncertain, given the team’s existing quality players. Belhadj retired internationally in 2012 after 8 years and 54 caps for the national team.
