The Algerian national football team, known as the Fennecs, is set to face Guinea on August 14 as part of FIFA Day.
While the official list has not been publicly disclosed, it is confirmed that versatile defender Liassine Cadamuro and midfielder Saphir Taïder have received call-ups. Real Sociedad confirmed Cadamuro’s call-up, and FC Bologna did the same for Taïder.
Already assured of advancing to the third and final round of World Cup qualifiers for Brazil 2014, the Algerian team is preparing for the sixth and final day of the second round of the competition against Mali.
