Algeria, having been eliminated in the first round of CAN 2013, is looking to strengthen its team with some dual nationals for future competitions. Coach Vahid Halilhodzic, after discussions with the president of the Football Federation, Mohamed Raouraoua, expressed his desire to avoid any conditions or demands from new recruits. Halilhodzic emphasized the importance of maintaining a team-focused approach and not succumbing to individual player demands. Players such as Ishak Belfodil, Yacine Brahimi, Saphir Taider, and Nabil Ghilas are reportedly being considered to join the Algerian national team. The team’s next match is against Benin in the qualifiers for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
