Nabil Bentaleb received his first call-up to the Fennecs during FIFA Day on March 5, and the Tottenham midfielder made a strong impression during the victory against Slovenia (2-0).
His teammate, Adlene Guedioura, highlighted the positives and expressed his belief that Bentaleb has the potential to become one of the stars of the Algerian national team. Speaking to the BBC, the Crystal Palace player praised Bentaleb, stating, “I think he can bring a lot to the Algerian team. He’s a young boy who starts every match with Tottenham, which shows how good he is.”
Guedioura also emphasized the importance of welcoming Bentaleb into the national team, describing it as a family. “When he joined us for the first time, we tried to welcome him like a brother because the national team is a kind of family,” he said.
