Algeria giants MC Alger make official approach to sign Toronto FC forward Cassius Mailula
MC Alger have approached American outfit Toronto FC to sign attacker Cassius Mailula in the current transfer window.
The Algeria champions are executing an aggressive effort to bolster their squad ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign, with Mailula emerging as a priority target.
However, the MC Alger have contacted Toronto FC in an attempt to secure the services of the former Wydad Casablanca striker.
The Algeria giants are seeking for a season-long loan acquisition of the forward. . The club is looking to bolster its frontline ahead of the upcoming campaign.
Notably, Mailula has already worked under Mokwena at Mamelodi Sundowns and at Wydad Casablanca.
The forward, who has been in the books of Toronto featured for Morocco giants Wydad Casablanca last term, where Mailula scored six goals and provided seven assists across 36 matches.
He also made his mark at the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup held in the USA, netting twice for the club.
