Algeria forward Anis Hadj Moussa named Eredivisie Player of the Month for September
Algerian international Anis Hadj Moussa has been named Eredivisie Player of the Month for September after delivering a series of impressive performances for Feyenoord in the Dutch top flight.
The 24-year-old attacker enjoyed a productive month, scoring four goals in just two league appearances to earn recognition for his contributions to Feyenoord’s attacking play.
Hadj Moussa found the net twice in Feyenoord’s encounter with PEC Zwolle on September 13 before producing another brace against FC Utrecht on September 20. His consecutive two-goal performances underlined his growing influence in the team’s forward line and helped him stand out among the league’s performers during the month.
The award represents the second time the Algerian has received the Eredivisie’s monthly individual honour, having previously been recognised in May 2026.
His latest achievement further highlights his progress at Feyenoord, where he has continued to demonstrate his ability to create scoring opportunities and trouble opposing defences with his attacking qualities.
Hadj Moussa has also maintained impressive numbers since the beginning of the 2026/27 campaign. In six Eredivisie appearances, he has scored five goals and provided one assist, establishing himself as an important attacking option for the Rotterdam-based club.
His performances will be encouraging for Feyenoord as they look to maintain their competitiveness in the Dutch league, while his consistent displays could also strengthen his position within the Algerian national team setup.
With his confidence growing and his contributions increasing, Hadj Moussa will be hoping to build on his outstanding September form and maintain his goalscoring momentum as the season progresses.
