Algeria attacker Amine Gouiri has named French-Cameroonian star Kylian Mbappe as the best striker in the world.
Mbappe, who joined Real Madrid last summer has settled in well at the club, racking up 41 goals across competitions and delivering five assists in the period.
The France captain has found his footing and peaked at Madrid, with his immense performances overshadowing the clubs unsuccessful campaign.
In a recent Q&A with Onze Mondial, the 24-year-old forward shared his inspirations revealed admiration for Mbappe, saying he is currently the best striker in the world.
“In my eyes, the best striker in the world right now is Kylian Mbappé.” He said.
The former Paris Saint Germain striker currently leads the Spanish La Liga goal king race with just a game to end the campaign. Mbappe has racked up 29 goals as he edges closer to snatching to topscorer ahead of Barcelona’s Robert Lewandowski, who has 25 goals.
