Algerian Ligue 1 Update – October 17, 2014
CAF Champions League finalists ES Sétif suffered their first defeat of the season, falling 1-0 to ASM Oran in an early Round 7 clash of the Algerian Ligue 1.
The lone goal came in the 29th minute through Benkablia, giving ASM Oran a valuable victory that temporarily lifts them to 4th place in the standings.
Meanwhile, NA Hussein Dey also picked up a 1-0 win against CR Belouizdad in Friday’s other fixture.
