Algeria consider Vladimir Petkovic departure as talks over Fennecs future continue

Vladimir Petkovic’s position as Algeria manager has become increasingly uncertain, with several Algerian media outlets reporting that his time in charge of the Fennecs could soon come to an end.

The Federation Algerienne de Football (FAF) has not made any official announcement about the Swiss coach’s future. However, reports suggest the federation and Petkovic are moving towards an amicable termination of his contract, which would bring his tenure with the national team to a close.

According to Dzfoot, citing several Algerian sources, Petkovic has already told members of his coaching staff that their time with the Fennecs is likely to finish shortly. Discussions between the FAF and representatives of the manager are said to have resulted in an agreement over compensation.
