Former Algerian international goalkeeper, Alexandre Oukidja, has been awarded the Player of the Month accolade at his French club, Metz.
The official social media account of the French club posted a picture of the retired Algerian shot-stopper receiving the Player of the Month award for last January.
Oukidja received the accolade in recognition of his performance during the 23rd round of Ligue 1, where Metz fell 2-1 against Olympique Lyon, with the decisive goal scored by another international, Said Benrahma.
During January, the retired international played three games for Metz, including a cup match against Clermont Foot that ended in a 1-1 draw, and two Ligue 1 matches lost 1-0 to both Toulouse and Nice, respectively.
