Alexander Isak: I’m not thinking about leaving Newcastle United

Swedish striker of Eritrean descent, Alexander Isak has indicated that he is focused on doing his best for Newcastle United.

The highly rated forward has been linked with a move to Spanish La Liga giants FC Barcelona in the summer transfer window.

Speaking on the rumours, Isak noted that he is not thinking about leaving Liverpool at the moment.

He further added that he is happy with life in England but added that he would only decide on a move in the summer transfer window.

“I haven’t thought about any transfer. I have not spoken to anyone. I’m focused on Newcastle.

“It’s not something I think about. I’m enjoying my football here, we will see in the summer,” Alexander Isak said as reported by AS.

On Sunday evening, Alexander Isak featured for Newcastle in the Carabao Cup final against Liverpool.

He scored with an emphatic finish in the second half, sealing a 2-1 win to win the Cup for Newcastle United.
