Manchester United youngster Alejandro Garnacho has eulogized Spanish international of Moroccan descent Lamine Yamal following his impressive display in the Champions League clash between Barcelona and Inter Milan.
Yamal, who also has Equatorial Guinea root delivered a top-class performance in the semifinal first leg clash, held at the Olympic Stadium.
The 17-year-old tormented Inter Milan defense, particularly, Dimarco, who had to be subbed off for Carlos Agusto. Yamal scored a classy goal as his outfit played out a 3-3 thrilling draw against Inter Milan on Wednesday night.
However, Garnacho, who is an Argentina youngster has declared Yamal as the best player in the world currently.
“Lamine Yamal is the best player in the world” he said.
This season, Yamal has scored 15 goals and provided 24 assists in 49 appearances for Barcelona across competitions.
Meanwhile, the enterprising winger has reached a new milestone at Barcelona following his involvement in the game against Inter Milan. Yamal has now featured 100 times for Barcelona since breaking into the senior team in 2023 under then manager Xavi.
Out of the 100 games, Yamal has scored 22 goals and delivered 33 assists for the club and is gradually etching his name into the history books of the Spanish giants.
